The journey began unexpectedly in a supermarket, sparked by a simple glance at a CO2 cylinder, leading to the groundbreaking question:
“What if we use CO2 instead of air?”
This insight, recognizing that air pressure doesn’t significantly interact with water, propelled the team toward utilizing CO2 to enhance espresso brewing. This concept, after years of meticulous refinement, gave birth to Riespresso, embodying the team’s dedication to crafting a nuanced and poetic espresso experience through the fusion of gas technology and traditional espresso.

The primary obstacle was managing the pressure variability, which required extensive development to master the mechanics. Successfully converting this pressure into a form of art exemplified their perseverance and creativity, marking a significant achievement in their quest to revolutionize coffee preparation

The quiet of the coffee machine is often interrupted by its sounds and noises. Co2ffè introduced us to an unexpected sound. Through thorough testing and refinement, the machine produces sounds that offer relaxation.

Comprising designers and engineers, we have focused on research, design, and technological innovation for many years. Sounds and melodies influence human emotions and energy, we developed Co2ffè to transform espresso making into a ritualistic experience.
